Are you looking for some spooky fun this Halloween? Our Halloween Handbook will help guide you through some of the creepiest haunted houses, most crooked mazes and scariest graves in the lower mainland!



What is worse than getting lost in a corn maze during the day? Getting lost in a corn maze at night of course! Here are a couple haunted and un-haunted maze options for you this Halloween:

  1. Chilliwack Corn Maze: Looking for a fun experience for all ages? The Chilliwack corn maze features a 12 acre corn maze, pedal karts, an indoor hay bale maze for kids, duck races and more! This farm is a must see attraction, visit their website here for more information.

  2. Maan Farms Corn Maze – Abbotsford: Remember when we said there are haunted corn mazes? Your search ends here… Maan Farms features a range of fall activities including the ultimate haunted corn maze complete with killer clowns, chainsaw wielding lunatics and starving zombies. Make sure you take the correct turn or else you may not return! For those not looking to become someone else’ dinner, there is a un-haunted, flashlight friendly maze, as well as a daytime maze for all ages.   3. Aldor Acres Pumpkin Patch: This list would not be complete without including Aldor Acres! If you haven’t been before, this is another must see attraction. Open daily until the end of October, stop on by for a hayride and to pick a pumpkin in the patch. Once the hayride is over, go cuddle some of the many furry friends waiting to meet you! Zombies and Ghosts aren’t real…. Or are they? Trust us, you will not know your left from your right if you visit the following haunts!

  1. Potters House of Horrors: For those who make it out in one piece, this haunted house is seriously the creepiest house out there. We can’t tell whether the actors are alive or dead, all we know is they will scare the dickens out of you! For those 12 and under, there are 2 haunted houses for you to visit too!

  2. Walking Dead Haunted Attraction: Presented by the Mission Arts Council, this is an incredible spectacle perfect for any walking dead fan. This is an age restricted attraction, no children under the age of 8 are allowed. Any child between 8 & 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This attraction is open the following dates: October 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31.

  3. Haunted House for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice: Open Halloween weekend only: October 29 – 31st between 6pm and 9pm, this is a by donation only haunted house. Starting just three years ago as a small graveyard scene, this haunt has quickly grown and has become an incredible attraction. Over 1700 spectators flock over the three nights to get freaked out… make sure you are one of them!

  4. Reapers Haunted Attraction: Chilliwack’s most popular haunted house is constantly changing from year to year and week to week. With two different terrors to visit, you can make a night of it! This haunted house is open daily until October 31st

  5. Fright Nights at Playland: Where else can you find 7 haunted houses, 13 rides and fire performers? Fright Nights is Vancouver’s largest Halloween attraction and Western Canada’s Scariest Haunt!

  1. Stanley Park Ghost Train: This year’s theme for the annual Halloween Ghost Train, which will take you through a twisted journey through the spookier side of Stanley Par. The theme is labelled The Day of the Dead and takes you through the tunnel of flames with the Aztec Lord and Lady of Death tight by your side.

  2. Grave Tales: Historic Walking tours are back. Listen to ‘spine-chilling’ stories as you walk through Fort Langley. You can pick either a youth or adult version of the walk; walks begin at 9pm.
